Richardson’s Trading 102nd Birthday Boot Camp (Navajo Weaving Boot Camp Class in Gallup, New Mexico)
Join Our Navajo Weaving Class at Richardson’s in Gallup!
Richardson Trading in Gallup, NM is celebrating their 102nd year in business and this Navajo weaving class is part of the festivities. Class starts on Thursday, May 14th and lasts for three intense days, ending on Saturday, May 16th. Our class will meet from 9 AM to 6 PM and we will have evening visits with other Gallup traders like Bill Malone and Perry Null. Accommodations: It is your responsibility to make lodging reservations. Jennie, Liz and I will be staying at the El Rancho Hotel, which is quite close to Richardson’s. It is historic, fun and quirky. It is NOT a Hilton and if you have issues with accessibility we suggest another hotel (one of the quirks of the hotel is that the bathrooms are, umm, unconventional). For a list of other Gallup lodgings, check out Tripadvisor. Of course you can contact me if you would like more information on any of the hotels you find.
You can click here to register and pay your $200 deposit. A second payment of $200 will be billed to you in February, 2015. The class is currently full. Please contact me if you would to be on the waiting list.
Registration, Cancellation and Refund Policies
A deposit is required to hold a seat in any class. Tuition must be paid in full 90 days before your class begins. If you find that you cannot attend the session that you have registered for, you may move to another session at no additional cost by paying any difference in tuition if there is space available. You may cancel your registration prior to three months before your class and you will receive a full refund of your tuition less $75 in administrative fees. If you need to cancel within three months of your class date, your tuition will be refunded less $75 if we are able to fill your seat. If we cancel a class due to low enrollment, you’ll receive a full refund of all the fees you’ve paid or you can transfer to another session that has space. We will make this determination by March 15, 2013 and we will inform you immediately should we need to do it. Since your ability to attend any class session may be affected by conditions like weather, employment and medical emergencies that cannot be anticipated, we highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance to cover the portions of your trip that may not be refundable.
