watched your story the other night on pbs. i found it very interesting but also very sad. the political implications are maddening and i wish could somehow be made right in a fast and acceptable way. the time and spirit you put into your work and the dedication you all have to maintain your cultural and spiritual life is amazing! i got done watching the show and started pacing, wishing that there was some way to help. not have much monetary stability myself, that wasnt a choice, but by maybe spreading some of what i learned just to the people around me may help increase awareness to the situation. i definetly will check program schedules and get the word out to watch this program when available. thanks for doing what you do, to some of us it means that history is saved and passed down the way it should be. thanks again.

I just saw Weaving Worlds on my local PBS station. I only found out about it because I felt like sitting down to do some spinning this afternoon, and I usually put on PBS while I spin (if I turn the TV on at all). Serendipity! I found everything about the program fascinating, including the language, the culture, the sheep, the spinning, the weaving, the environmental and political concerns...everything.

This movie was aired in the Portland area on the last Sun. in Oct.
Just a stroke of luck that I caught it, and taped it.
We had seen a sneak preview of it, at Sheep Is Life, 2007 and have been waiting for the release.
Just keep checking, as they told me that once it was released, they could maybe sell a tape.

Our PBS station showed this program on WED, Nov. 5 so I missed it. Do you know if there are any plans to release the program on video?

Love your site.
