Margaret, D.Y. Begay wrote today to let me know that the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. has her work in their collection. D.Y. was very flattered by your comment and says that you can contact her directly at dybegay@cox.net if you have other questions.

Margaret, I know that the Kennedy Museum of Art in Cincinnati, Ohio has some of D.Y.'s work. You can see some of the exhibit work she's done for them at http://www.ohio.edu/museum/weaving/dybegaymain.html. I've forwarded your compliment and question to D.Y.

I am stunned by D. Y. Begay's contemporary weavings. Are there museums where her work is displayed so I could see it in person? My daughter attends ASU so we have an opportunity to be in Arizona about once a year but especially nice would be a museum on the east coast where we live.
