In this 3 day workshop students will work on a pre-warped Navajo Upright Loom (which will be available for sale) and will learn the basics of Navajo weaving and design while making a small (10” x 12”) rug. Wool for the weft will need to be purchased in the shop at the time of the workshop.
The workshop will be held at Grandma’s Spinning Wheel, 6544 E. Tanque Verde Rd., Suite 150, Tucson, AZ on Sunday, November 13- Tuesday, November 15. Time: 10:00-5:00. Cost is $375.00, which includes use of the looms, which will be supplied with warp already prepared and all necessary weaving tools, which will be available for purchase. The class will be limited to 10 students, so reserve your space soon.
