When: Second Thursday of every month, 6 PM to 9 PM

Cost: $15 for first class, $10 for subsequent classes

Looms, wool and tools available for purchase.

Everyone is welcome.

Beginning/Continuing Navajo Weaving

Instructor Lucinda Baloo has taught weaving in a community college setting and is now offering a two day class to help you start or continue with your weaving.  Lucinda lives in Chambers, Arizona and is originally from Mariano Lake, New Mexico.  Her maternal clan is Edgewater.  Class fee includes the use a loom and some tools and some yarn is provided.  Students should bring batten, comb and extra yarns.

Some lodging is available at Red Horse Ranch and you can contact them for recommendations on other local lodging options.

    Robert Garcia: I have what I think is a Navajo weaving 23" X 35" that was made by ? Mary Rose James? Just wanted to know what its worth.
